2. How long does it take before my new site is operational?
It typically takes two to four days to get a new site up and running.

3. Will my new site contain advertising?
No. Your site will be clean and uncluttered. It will contain only the information
that you want.

4. How much does it cost?
The total price for a basic 1-4 page site is $75.00 USD
for the first month
and $25.00/mo. thereafter. This includes a limited amount of customization and
maintenance.
Our prices are
detailed here
.

5. Are there any hidden charges or limitations?
There are no hidden charges. The only charges
are for initial setup, continuing site maintenance,
customization, manual data entry, and problem solving.
All fees are listed on the
Prices page.
We can arrange for dialup (telephone) access to the Internet for an additional monthly fee. Be sure to read our
legal notice before signing up for a site.

6. Is there a money-back guarantee?
We regret that due to our extremely low prices we cannot offer refunds.

7. What do I have to do?
For us to set up your Web site, we need the following information,
either by email or regular mail:
- Your address and other information requested
in our signup form. Note that you must
supply a valid email address or telephone number.
- The desired Web site name (Domain Name) for your new site. If the
site name is already taken, we will contact you with alternates.
- The content for your new Web site. This may include text,
scanned photographs, etc. Content may be organized by pages, with
access to pages supplied by menus. Such design choices can be made
by you,
or we can provide a custom design at a higher price.
There may be a data-entry fee.
- If your content changes from time to time, you may supply us
with the new content. Small content changes are included in our standard
maintenance service.

What Is...
9. What is the Internet?
The Internet is a means of communicating from one computer to another. The
Internet supports the World Wide Web, email, and other services. No one
owns the Internet; it is a cooperative venture by many educational institutions,
businesses, and individuals.

10. What is the World Wide Web?
The World Wide Web is a collection of "pages" that can be displayed by
a program called a "browser" that runs on
your computer. Pages may contain text, drawings, photographs, sounds,
music, animations, and other content.
Some popular browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator.
These products are free and can be
downloaded or upgraded.

11. What is a Web site?
Web pages are organized into Web sites.
Each Web site represents one (or part of one) business, organization, or
individual.
Web sites may offer products, services, information, or entertainment.

12. What is a Domain Name?
A Domain Name is the "address" of a Web site. Examples of
domain names are www.nbc.com, www.abc.com, and www.cbs.com (these
are the names of the Web sites for the three major TV networks).
Domain Names are maintained by special Internet organizations, registration
services, who charge a
fee (typically $20-$30/year) for registering them.
Domain Name registration services are not Internet Service Providers or
Web site hosting services.

13. What is an Internet Service Provider?
An Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a company or institution that connects computers
with the Internet.
This connection may be by "dialup", which means
connection by telephone, or may be "broadband", which refers to higher
speed connections such as ISDN (telephone company), Cable (cable TV), and
others such as T1 (telephone company).
ISPs may charge from $6 to $35 or more per month for their services, depending
principally on their slice of the market (which is mostly determined by
their advertising budget).

14. What is a Web Hosting Service?
A Web hosting service is different from an Internet Service Provider (ISP),
in spite of the similarity in their names.
Hosting services make Web sites available. They
provide "Web servers", which are computers dedicated to
making Web pages available over the Internet. A hosting service provides
disk space for the data (computer files) making up a Web site, as well
as special software to deliver the data to your Web browser (such as
Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator and Communicator, Opera,
or others).
Web hosting services may charge from $10 to $100 or more, depending on the
desired level of service and support.
